Studio in Kensington
A small and seductive lower ground floor in Kensington owned by a family living next door. We were therefore commissioned to incorporate it internally into the family house layout and rescue it from its abandonment.
A palette of tonal greys and pale whites was selected for the walls and ceilings, while dark oak flooring laid in a herringbone pattern gave spatial continuity throughout the residence. In a search for a striking and sophisticated contrast, the shower room and toilet were finished in green tones, incorporating glazed tiles and rich wallpaper respectively.
While a pied-à-terre is designed for occasional use, the bespoke finishes and high-quality craftsmanship achieved here are built for longevity and enduring style.
In collaboration with Goodbody&Co.
