House in Kensington
We were commissioned to undertake a comprehensive renovation of this magnificent Edwardian residence to enhance the lifestyle of a family of four. The works included substantial transformations in every rooms and all decisions were to be made in close collaboration with the Client fostering mutual trust and making the whole process a very enjoyable experience.
A great deal of things have to be taken into consideration when facing projects like this, from existing furniture and textiles, to different zoning and uses within the house.
Colour served as vital cohesive element. We used vivid, fresh tones for high-traffic areas; elegant and sophisticated for transitional spaces; deep and embracing for intimate rooms, and restful palette specifically for bedrooms.
The incorporation of wallpapers, rich textiles, dark oak timber flooring and a number of rediscovered original features brought quality and a solid identity to the space.
In collaboration with Goodbody&Co.
